has always had a tradition of
developing an environment that
is conducive for learning both
in a structured setting as well
as on the job. On the job coaching
for us, forms the most important
method of developing new skills
and competencies in all employees.
Therefore a lot of emphasis
is laid on developing feedback
and coaching skills among all
Managers.
That apart, a number of innovative
programs have been developed
that come to us from J&J
Worldwide, Integrity Selling,
Management Development Program,
Spreading the Credo,
and Advertising Leadership
Program are some such programs.
Depending on his present and
future needs, the development
objectives of the individual
employee are culled in conjunction
with the Training Partner(
a specific line individual who
supports HR in need assessment
and learning delivery), and
the Department of Learning
and Development within HRD.
We also encourage the development
of internal trainers who have
in the past delivered programs
in the area of their expertise,
thus honing their own facilitation
skills in the process. J&J
also believes in the use of
outbound fun filled learning
and development activities
as means to build teams within
the organization.
