Consumer-Medical business: LifeScan is unique in that it operates in a wide gamut of businesses from institutional "point of care testing" to self-testing at homes by patients. Hence it is not a true hospital or consumer business but a hybrid of both models

LifeScan activities include public forums, exhibitions, retail sales, promotions, hospital selling, education programs, DTC activities, public relations programs and many more.
Education Programs: LifeScan conducts every week a Nurse education program or Patient education program somewhere in the country to increase diabetes awareness and communicate the importance of regular monitoring of blood glucose.
